Less than 1000 of these cars were ever sold in the UK when new and this is one of them.We have owned this since January 2023, purchased at 86k miles and covered only 7k since then. In that time we have carried out a fair amount of maintenance work including new shocks and springs front and rear (genuine VW parts), and discs and pads front & rear as well. The car itself has an impressive full service history (documented) having been serviced every year of it's life, plus the following:- Timing Belt - June 2015- Haldex Service - June 2015- Timing Belt & Water Pump - July 2020- Haldex Service - November 2020- Clutch & Flywheel - November 2022Interior:The full black Vienna Leather upholstery is in great condition with the only sign of wear being on the driver's seat. The interior was treated to a full professional detail last year so it is like new. One feature of the interior which helps bring the car up to new standard is the addition of the OEM look Apple Car Play headunit - Bluetooth / Car Play / Nav through the Carplay work perfectly.Exterior:The exterior of the car is in very good condition, very presentable and it was treated to a paint correction detail last year so the Reflex Silver paintwork is bright and glossy, however please be aware this is not a show car. Being now 14 yrs old, it carrys a few marks on the bodywork. Being honest, the front and rear bumpers could do with a refresh of paint. Overall though, very presentable as can be seen from the photos. We fitted brand new 18" Talledega Alloys last year, genuine VW and these are wearing Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres all round (at the same time a full wheel alignment was carried out). Again being honest, 3 of the alloys are now kerbed.Engine / Chassis / Driving:The engine is very smooth and runs fantastic, as you would expect having been well cared for it's whole life. In our ownership we have always run it on BP Ultimate, and regularly returns around 30mpg. The drive of the car was given a new lease of life last year when we fitted the brand new original VW shocks and springs, for a hot hatch it's actually very smooth on the road with great handling. The new discs and pads (Brembo) perform perfectly and with the size of the R discs, stop the car with a lot of power.Price:We are looking £9996 or nearest offer, we feel this reflects the condition of the car along with the fantastic service and maintenance history.
