Having owned the car for two years and enjoying 32000 miles of driving, I can personally recommend the Audi A4 SE Technik. MPG, comfort and reliability are all included even if you are paying for a premium badge.

Driving experience, comfort, style. It's all good. It's a diesel so is reasonably economical for the engine size.

Build Quality, Equipment, Reliability, Styling, Performance - all excellent.
Parts and fuel are a bit on the expensive side though.

We have owned our Audi A4 Avant for over three year. It has been a joy to drive. Very reliable and looks stunning.

I have this car 15 months now and its a great car, I had read all the bad stories about these cars but got one anyway, just make sure it has a full service history and has a engine code that starts with brd. the back seat leg room is only good for young children but to drive its great

this is my third a4 as last 7 years faultness ihave to say a dream to drive compare to other cars that i have driven ;never let me down i will change next year to another a4 or a5

I have had this car for three years, the only thing that I have had to ever replace has been the wiper blades, tyres and the timing belt... all things you would expect to replace. Huge amount of power, very quiet, very comfortable, amazing hifi - would highly recommend this car for the family. Three years of great driving so far (and the car is six years old!)

Bad car I would not take one if you we're giving me it for free had a s line tdi convertible 06 140bhp top of the range 87'000 miles had it for 4 weeks every thing went wrong PDF fitter then camshaft lost £££££££££££ on it ,worst car ever don't buy one.

Had a 2.0 litre Diesel 140 bhp. The worst car I ever owned. It was constantly breaking down and when I would bring it to the Audi garage all they would say 'that part goes in them all'.
I could never go on a journey with either the car breaking down or worrying about it breaking down. It was very expensive to repair with the last bill costing me €1,800 and it out of action for 1 month.
It was an S-Line with big wheels which costed a small fortune to put tyres on and the ride was extremely bumpy. Very poor space inside and arm rest and glove box constantly breaking. Very poor build quality.
The only positive was it had great power when running well.
Not a good car.

Have owned my A3 S-line Black edition from new for just over a year and a half. Standard trim considering this is the top of the range bar the S3 is a bit basic compared to many mainstream cras and soon adds to the list price if adding them as options. Now with little over 28k on the clock I have to say I have been very happy with everything so far. Long life service schedule means only 1 service so far which was very reasonable at my local independent garage. Ride is a bit frim being the s-line trim but suits me fine. Looks well from every angle and does receive a lot of looks from passers by. Only real expense so far is the tyres, front doing about 12k rear just about done at 28k but costly enough to replace at around £170 each.
