Totally reliable and a pleasure to own, however, make sure it has a good service history.
average fuel consumption is around 38 miles per gallon and on a run you can expect between 44 to 46.
Great pulling power and will purr like a kitten, but, put the foot down and will go like a rocket.
Rust is not a big issue although do check the rear wheel arches are clean.

Having purchased this car July 2017 25500 miles and now 35,000 miles later, I can honestly say it is flawless and have enjoyed every mile.
It has the comfort and economy which averages around the 40 per gallon, on a long run you will get about 52 per gallon.
Find a local garage for servicing though as Mercedes are just to expensive, ie service B quote £649 local independant(A. McVeigh £160)
so makes a lot of sense to shop around.

Have this car 8 years, never failed me, very low maintenance, don't know why anyone would buy other diesel makes considering the price of EGR's & AMFM and sensors, this is a brilliant car, will defo buy another..
