This is a fantastic motor. The 1.9l diesel is reliable and frugal (over 60 mpg, like always!). It's roomy, practical, cheap to tax and cheap to insure. It's also a cool, alternative hot hatch. See so many people blowing a fortune on Focus STs and Mini Cooper S's - madness. It's also miles cheaper than the equivalent Golf / Polo, and FAR more comfortable than the Ibiza. This is all the hot hatch most people will ever need as well as being all the family car, second car, commuter car or run about anyone would ever need!

My wee Skoda Fabia is a family perfect car.This estate model had a generous boot.Drive easy, run cheap, spares and service cheap.It's a real cheap version of Polo. I Had to sell the car because I need the park space.

Sadly had to part due to high mileage and had a feeling that the car would need a major repair. Overall a good family car to have and easy to live with. Would buy another in future.

I’ve had my wee Skoda Fabia now for over 5 years and I would only consider selling it to buy a slightly newer one for the lower mileage. I’ve never looked back since buying it second hand with just over 16,000 miles on her and now she has over 77,000. Solid, reliable, cheap to insure and service and it’s more or less a VW in all but name.
