I owned a Volvo V40 D2 R Design for 7 years. I found it to be a very comfortable, reliable and safe car for the family. I regularly drove it on the motorway where it would return 60 plus mpg. The combined fuel consumption was 53 mpg. Overall, very economical and it's a shame Volvo stopped making small hatchback cars.

I’ve had this car 2 years. It is a luxury car spec for lemonade money. Sturdy well built with loads of extras on the stands spec. Beautiful to drive short or long distances, great engine. Roof is spectacular to watch, always turns heads. Only down side is economy- 37mpg no matter how frugal or exciting you drive.

Ex DLA it for not work right Volvo was bad at fixing it that's why for sale i would keep away gear box bad has two front tyres replaces back seat roped my dog did it hard on fuel
