Hi there,
This is our mk 4, 1998 Fiesta 1.3 Encore, with only 43,000k genuine miles.
It has lots of history including the original book with plenty of stamps. I have had it serviced three times over the last 3 years and it has been well looked after.
We have rescued, owned and used it for the last 3 years, doing 13k miles in that time - the intention was for it to be my son's first car, but its age put an end to that.
Mechanically the car is brilliant - very sound and a smooth runner - no knocks, rattles, leaks or issues to report on. It is also has a chain as opposed to timing belt.
I have had one wheel arch resprayed and the 2 sills have been repaired for consecutive MOTs. The other rear wheel arch may need some attention and the front ones too, although they are not as bad. Of course there are other cosmetic bits and pieces to be expected on a 26 year old car.
Its current MOT runs until September '24 & there are currently no issues with it, so it should get through without any problem.
The interior is incredibly clean and all original - there are no holes in the upholstery.
It was owned by a neighbour's aunt, then by our neighbour and now us - so 3 owners from new. Although there are 2 keys, one is for the boot (standard for these cars) - getting another key cut is easy enough from a company in Belfast.
The only thing to note is that I'll be keeping the number plate!
The car is priced to sell so no time wasters please. I'm happy to communicate and answer any questions whatsoever.
