VECTRA SRI CDTI
100%
2007 Vauxhall Vectra Diesel Manual Hatchback by Mike - Armagh • 1st March 2012
I have my Vectra CDTI for 5 years and it is the best car I have ever owned. Very easy to fuel, Tax and insure. I have never had a days bother with it.
When I 1st purchased it I had planned to keep it for max 3 years - but 5 years later I still have it.
The SRI drives and handles well and has the looks to match.
This was my 1st Vauxhall having driven VW, Audi, Merc - and can safely say it wont be my last.

2006 BMW 3 Series Diesel Manual Estate by Mocsoft • 14th February 2012
This is a fantastic car, great economy, practical and a pleasure to drive! With combined driving I consistently get 50 mpg on every tank, it doesn't feel like a big estate to drive in fact I don't think you could tell it apart from the saloon. As with all new bmws I would recommend non run flats, I have changed all 4 tyres and it rides much better. My car has over 100 k on the clock now and hasn't missed a beat, BMW condition based service schedule of every 15-20k should be ignored in my opinion, I change oil and filters every 10k and believe the car is much better for it.

I have a Vauxhall Zafira and absolutely love it. When I'm not using all the seats I put the back two down and have a huge boot.
I have high mileage on mine and still runs like a dream.
Very economical car and would buy another one.

Toyota Corolla 1.4vvti 3dr

2001 Toyota Corolla Petrol Manual Hatchback by andy • 9th February 2012
This is my second toyota corolla and they are the best built cars in the world. I bought this one off a friend and it has 130k miles on it and drives like a dream. They are comfortable, easy to run im getting 40mpg which is good, it has good power from the 1.4vvti engine which delivers 94bhp and sounds great. People think it has too small of an engine but its the most powerful 1.4 engine you can get and when you drop it into 3rd gear it flys down the road. Its the best engine and very reliable had no problems at all. The interior is well made, and its anice place to be. They handle brilliantly and will easily do 250k miles no problem. The parts are cheap and easy to service. As i said this is my second one i sold my first one and bought a diesel and gave me nothing but trouble so i did the sensible thing and bought another corolla and never looked back.

Seat Leon 1.9TDI 90BHP

2001 Seat Leon Diesel Manual Hatchback by andy • 9th February 2012
I bought a 2001 seat leon 1.9tdi 90bhp in sept 2011 and sold it in dec 2011. Ill start with the good points, the engine, gearbox, turbo were all 100% the power from a 90BHP is very good and great on the motorway and was averaging 55mpg, the boot is very big which is good for family, and its a comfortable car. The bad points were I had to replace the control boxes in the driver and passenger because when I locked the car about 10 secs later it would unlock itself and let the 4 windows go down in rain or shine doors which cost €200 each, the main dealers have very bad service, the lights in the dash and clocks kept flickering which my mechanic told me is the alternator and is expensive to fix, and the seals around the doors were gone so any time it rained water got in through all doors apart from the boot and my friend had leon on too so its a common problem. So my advice would be check the floors for wet carpets, and make sure it has none of thses problems. I had a toyota corolla before this car and it never gave me any trouble so I went back to one.

2006 Audi A4 Diesel Manual Saloon by Nick R • 8th February 2012
I have owned this car for just over 2 years (my second A4) and I have to say it is the best car I have owned. Good handling, reasonable mpg, feels well made and looks good. I will be honest though, I have had a few faults, some of which can be costly to reapir. I would definately buy another Audi but think I would go for a S3/S4/S5 the next time.

2008 Land Rover Range Rover Sport Diesel Automatic Estate by AP McCoy Not! • 8th February 2012
I bought my sport with 40000 miles done and it now has 125000. Only needed suspension work at 90000 (£845) and new compressor at 110000 (£795), both jobs done in LR garage, apart from that it has been faultless! MPG is 25 when driving normally and 21 when towing my horsebox so economy isn't bad for a powerful V8! I love my sport and won't consider anything else when changing next year.

2005 Honda Accord Turbo Diesel Manual 5 speed Saloon by woodenman • 7th February 2012
I have had my car for 4 years now, bought it with 120.000 miles, I love this car its so easy and a pleasure to drive, it really is so easy on fuel unlike my last car, taking into account the miles I do a week, insurance is steep enough at nearly £700, tax isn't too bad though for a year at £120, haven't had to put any parts on it at all apart from service parts that is , however the clutch is beginning to slip now at 230.000 miles and i hear its dear enough seeing you have to replace flywheel and all, but with all things considered I would not get rid, and I would defo buy another seeing the mileage on this car.Really fantastic car a real credit to Honda seeing its their first diesel.!!!!

THE CAR IS VERY EXPENSIVE LOOKING AND A REAL HEAD TURNER. AND BEST OF ALL ITS A JAGUAR!!!! THE O4 MODEL AND ONWARDS HAVE THE NEW DESIGN INTERIOR AND AN UPGRADED CLUTCH. THIS CAR IS GREAT IN THE SNOW WITH 60% OF THE AWD GOING TO THE BACK WHEELS GIVING PERFECT BALANCE AND CONTROL. WOULD RECOMMEND WATCHING THE TOPGEAR REVIEW OF THE CAR.

Avondale Dart by SCK • 18th January 2012
Bought our Avondale last year from a local dealer and had a great season with the well equipped caravan. The lightweight model meant that towing with a Seat Altea petrol was fine and now towing with a Honda CRV diesel the 1200 kg weight caravan keeps the mpg respectable.

End bath room layout allows for an excellent shower area with more than adequate shelf storage. One draw back with the internal pump leads to noise within the caravan and the Dart model does not come with a spare wheel.

Overall we have been delighted with the practical layout, ease of towing and level of equipment/comfort.

2003 MG TF Petrol Manual Convertible by azzymo • 17th January 2012
Once the most popular sports car on British roads, now seen as a bad choice, with a poor reputation for reliability.

Owned this car for 3 years, I am the second owner and bought it from the original owner, who had driven it weekends and it had been well cared for. Has never missed a beat, always started and always made every journey an event. Now that there are <25000 TF's on UK roads, this is becoming a rare car. It does turn heads, especially in those warm days, roof down. Not many motors beat the TF for looks per pound. Reviews said when it was released, that the front compared in styling to Astons, I can see what they mean. Also I have found some people think you're driving a car more expensive and exotic than what it is. I have had strangers in the street question me about it, kids yell 'there's a ferrari' (yes it did happen) and passers by comment on how nice it is. Of course, there are others who will scoff at anything MGR but who's face is the car putting a smile on?

The car is lively but being 1.8, it ain't a prius but is relatively economical. Tax is <£200, servicing is reasonable as long as you take it to someone who knows the car. I've had to get the head gasket replaced due to overheating issue but not as big an issue as some make out. Everything else I've done to this car has been standard wear and tear, has never failed an MOT.

So what do I love about this car? The removable hardtop and easily accessible softtop are fabulous. Unlike over convertibles, the softtop can be dropped/put up in seconds while car is still driving. I've seen myself caught in a shower on the motorway, dropped my speed and pulled roof up and no stopping needed. Also addable parts are rife on forums and auction sites, meaning personalisation and upgrades are still possible even now that production has ended. The boot space is great too, plenty of room for my guitar and no problems doing the shopping. There's even room in the front if you're stuck.

These cars do need driven (not lying in garages as summer cars) and looked after ie serviced well and maintained but even with that, this will always put a smile on your face. I dread the day I have to say goodbye to this car.
