2004 Nissan Micra Petrol Manual 5 speed Hatchback by Me • 13th March 2016
Bought this car for my wife, 40k miles. Was told it had a FSH. Changed the oil as you do. Timing chain stretched. £700 with Charles hurst Belfast to leave it right. Then got the car back which was leaking oil. Charles hurst said that's an extra £250 to fix oil seals. Car great but make sure the oil has been changed regular. Charles Hursts I'll never be back.

The Nissan qashqai in particular, and indeed the entire range of vehicles that Nissan produce, all have a well deserved reputation for affordability and reliability.
I have driven various Nissan cars for the past 40 years and will continue to do so for the next 40.

2014 Volvo V40 Diesel Manual Hatchback by Private Seller • 16th February 2016
I had a BMW 318 as a company car before I purchased this Volvo and I love it! Been driving it for 6 months now. Really like how it holds the road, nice look and feel inside. Comfy seats, much better on snow and ice! It does sit low to the ground with large wheels so you do feel the drive more ( which may not suit all) plenty of space for my kids in the back but maybe not great leg room for adults. Fuel economy is fantastic with consistently over 60mpg which was the initial reason we looked at this car. No tax and same insurance, they also seem to be holding their value well. Only thing I miss is the heated seats !

Went for a 2.0dci 175, the nissan engined Espace, and it has been a great car. Ultra reliable and I can get over 40mpg on a long run and around 34mpg around town. Loads of space and one of best cars on the road to drive - very quiet and refined on the road and a fantastic motorway mile muncher. Would recommend without hesitation.

2011 Hyundai ix20 Diesel Manual 6 speed Family Car by Tony • 14th December 2015
My previous 2 cars were a Lexis IS 220 sport and and Alpha Romeo Lucio. I needed someting more economic and bought the Hyundi Ix20 with a panoramic sunroof. Its incredible how roomy it is inside as it looks small from the outside. Classy performance from the 6speed gearbox and its delivering around 65 miles per gal, hanles really well is is surprisingly nippy. Has all the spec you would get from a higher end car. Cant fault his little beauty and I have driven some classy cars in my time. Would I buy one again.....Try and stop me.

2009 Volvo V50 Petrol Manual 5 speed Estate by Mr Mark Shilliday • 13th December 2015
Never had a Volvo before, but glad we changed. Got a pup so had to change from a coupe/ convertible. V50 feels solid, drives like a dream, smooth and composed. Boot is not huge but its not small either (as many reviews will lead you to believe), big enough for our labrador and a ton of shopping. Don't listen about all the "its not a Volvo, its a Ford guff either, this is a high quality car, certainly as good as anything German. 1.8 petrol engine could be more powerful but it does the job for us, and I wouldn't change it. I will definitely buy Volvo again.

2004 Nissan Micra Petrol Manual Hatchback by CL • 25th November 2015
The Nissan Micra S was my first car and I loved it, never had any issues with it and I found it great to run. I never thought about a Micra as i always thought of it to be a car that elderly people tended to go for, but I found a lot of younger people were driving around in it, I loved the little bubble wagon.

5 Years warranty, 5 Years road side assistance, 5 Years free checks, 50+MGP and over £5K Saving thanks to Saltmarine.

I looked at every car on the market, to buy a similar golf/focus I would have been looking at a 2/3 year old car. I got a brand new car!

2006 BMW 3 Series Diesel Automatic 6 speed Estate by Ian Wilkinson • 23rd June 2015
I have driven this car for over 6 years, having bought it with 62,000 miles on the clock. It's now covered 155,000 miles and boy does it put a smile on my face! The straight 6 cylinder engine must be one of the best in production cars as is its 6 speed auto tiptronic box. I always drive it in manual mode. What a compromise - 0-60 in 6 secs and 37 mpg. I've had 2 large Canadian canoes on the roof bars, 2 kayaks and 4 bikes (3 different loads in case you're wondering!). Absolutely brilliant tail out handling with traction control off - very predictable (370lbft of torque!). Selling it to buy another, 6 years younger one - 2012 F30 version. Hope it's as much fun!
