2011 Sterling Eccles by Nanuq • 3rd October 2014
Have a 2011 sterling ruby Eccles. Bought for the large bathroom which we both love.It has a super shower and ample storage.
The fixed bed was our other must have. Very comfy bed.Takes a bit of getting used to making up but bar that it's a good bed.
Wardrobe however is close to bed and a bit fiddley to open and shut but holds plenty.
Cooker sits directly at side opposite bed and we've found if cooking anything on the near side ring stuff can spit out and onto the duvet!
Storage in this caravan is ample and outside storage is brilliant, having under bed storage which holds loads.
My biggest gripe is the living space...the curved back on the beds may look eye catching but can be very uncomfortable..The beds are very short and not for an adult. When made into a double bed it's Definately not a double but a wide single unless the two sleeping in it are about 4' in height!!
Kitchen is workable but small surface area. Oven good except for grill.
Fridge is superb with plenty of space if packed correctly and can be really cold if needed.
Enough lights in the caravan to light up Blackpool tower so no complaints in that department!
Blinds ensure a good nights sleep with little or no light getting through.
Tows well.
Overall a good and stylish looking caravan.

The best car I ever had, own it now 8 years, 1 breakdown due to a battery. I have used this car as a taxi and now have over 400,000 on it. A good guide on a car is to look what taxi men use, thats reliablity. Must also speak for the 06 2ltr model, have 200,000 on it, injectors replaced by vw, rear calipers & clutch kit replaced by myself. serviced every 10,000. good driving car

The B5 facelift Passats are 100 times the car the pre-facelift B5's are. I know because I have had both! I would buy a facelift B5 (01-05) in a heartbeat again. I wouldn't **** on a pre-facelift to be honest. They are a bung of dung compared to the facelifts. Facelift (01-05) 4.5/4.8 star out of 5. Pre facelift (96/97-2000) 3.0 out of 5.

1994 Mercedes C-Class Diesel Manual Sedan by Ryan McA • 24th September 2014
What a car! Had this motor in 2012 for about 4 months. She had moon shuttle mileague, over 200K and drove like a dream literally. Started to give bother and was air locking and cutting out diesel. Every time I cleared the air she went great for 10+ miles then done it again. Too old to put the money into so let her go but a testament to Mercedes quality. Reliable big bus when running well. Car was 18 going on 19 when I had it so she definately done her time and probably over again. Alreay planning/saving for a newer Benz. BMW/Audis etc are great motors too but the Mercs just ooze of quality and sophistication!

This is the best 4x4 we have owned. Fuel consumption at 48mpg isn't bad. Keyless entry/start and the automatic boot is so handy. Can't fault it. I would highly recommend this 4x4 to anyone.

2006 Hyundai Santa Fe Diesel Manual Sport utility vehicle by David Harris • 23rd August 2014
Owned one of these for 7 years and it never let us down. It was lovely to drive and while the fuel consumption could've been better we did mostly urban driving with only a few long journeys on which the fuel performance was much better. Takes 5 adults comfortably and the boot took my wheelchair & 3 large cases plus some smaller items tucked in. All in all a fantastic, reliable, roomy family car. If you see one at a good price snap it up.

Had this from new having test driven Q5 + X3 it was a no brainer. Loaded with every extra (bluetooth, reversing camera, overtaking warning light, detachable towbar etc) it drives impeccably and reliability is faultless. With 180 BHP on tap it is quick for overtaking esp 50-70 range. Fuel consumption is between 37-40 MPG which is good for a vehicle this size.

2003 Vauxhall Astra Diesel Manual Hatchback by Azzymo • 8th August 2014
Having driven a 03 1.7dti Astra for around 4 years I can look back and say that compared to most modern stuff I've owned the Astra was a good servant. Sure it is bland and gutless and no one will ever compliment you on your choice of car but on the other hand it will be dependable and functional. My model was the LS 5dr. There weren't that many toys, I think electric front windows were about as flash as it got. The only biggish thing to go on the car was the alternator, costing around £200 to put right. Everything else was straight forward wear and tear and servicing. The diesel engine is dead as a dodo but as it doesn't have a turbo you don't have a fear of an impending wallet bursting bill. MPG was decent, mostly early 50's. I don't think I'll ever look back and remember those Astra days as the best driving times in my life but they were some of the most trouble free. Don't start me on the modern Vauxhall diesels though..

1997 Fiat Ulysse Diesel People carrier by happy camper • 3rd August 2014
I have owned this car from new and im still driving it every day 17 years later. There has never been anthing that went wrong with the car except what you would call normal wear and tear.Ball joints in the front suspension last about 5 yrs then you need to replace the wishbones. With almost 220000 miles on the clock it still starts first time.the exhaust lasted to 136000 and still using the replacement.original starter and alternator still working.gone through 3 clutch kits ,original drives and cv joints, easy and cheap to service, not the best driving car in the world (a bit boaty) on the bends but it is reliable and the bodywork is in very good condition even though i have NEVER polished it in my life-I can honestly say it is the best car I have ever owned ,neighbours all comment on it as its been here before most of them. All I can say is thank you to FIAT I,d take another one tomorrow
