2003 BMW 3 Series Petrol Manual 6 speed Saloon by BMW owner • 26th April 2015
Love this car. Never give me any bother and had for 5 years now. Handles so well, fuel economy is great for 2.0l engine. Didnt do big miles but never any trouble from it. Plus all the extras made it very comfortable drive on long trips. Very good size boot, used the towbar to tow jet ski. Sound system was of vey high quality and the finish on the paintwork is top notch.

Probably the fastest most economical diesel saloon money can buy in manual guise. 45mpg all day long on motorway. Gr8 space and fantastic manual box.

1996 Hyundai Coupe Petrol Manual Coupe by JMan55 • 21st April 2015
I have always been a Toyota fan but wanted a car that was practical and had a sports look/feel. I found the Hyundai Coupe fitted the bill perfectly. There is plenty of room to store my SCUBA diving gear in the boot and if I drop the seats I can put my mountain bike in. The MPG is good considering the engine and it looks great. Driving this car is a real dream with smooth gear changes and fantastic feedback through the steering. Its dash is amazing and even provides a dial that shows how much power is in your battery and the charge going into it when the engines running. An amazing car!

2004 BMW X5 Turbo Diesel Steptronic Hatchback by Gary • 11th April 2015
Great driving experience, love this car and the reason I say car is because it handles more like a car than a 4X4. Smooth drive with clean gear changes. Plenty of room for the Kids and boot storage and bag loads of poke! Never had a problem with it as I regularly serviced it as you should... remember to do the Turbo filter each year as most people don't! Fuel efficient as long as you don't drive it like you stole it all the time, I was getting 35MPG however my mate was getting 50MPG with a £200 remap and had more power and torque also. Had one negative with the X5 and it is the same with any BMW, they are bad in the snow unless you use winter tyres.

2003 Renault Megane Petrol Manual 6 speed Hatchback by Luke McCorry • 18th March 2015
One of the best cars I've ever owned. 90k miles with nothing more than a MAF sensor, electric window regulator and boot catch (besides regular servicing). I picked the best engine in my opinion, the 2.0 VVT petrol with 6 speed manual gearbox. Averages 34MPG, road tax is a bit steep at £265 pa. It's very quick, sits just above 1000rpm in sixth gear at 40mph. Mine has lots of extras, panoramic glass roof, full black heated leather, climate control and keyless start. Ride can be a bit crashy with the upgraded wheels but they do look much better than the standard ones. I've bought many cars since, but still have the Mégane and have never found anything quite good enough to replace it permanently.

2007 Honda Accord Diesel Manual Saloon by Dan • 17th March 2015
Bought this car last year as my previous one was Honda and although different model it was absolutely brilliant.Had very expensive repair from the beginning - first the clutch needed replacement with the flywheel then the chains had to go for a total of £1100 parts only. Despite these troubles I just love it.It is smooth and quiet and comfortable .Have done 12k since I bough it and can't fault it except the things above for which I can blame myself only for not having properly tested it. Advise: Do not buy anything without FULL SERVICE HISTORY( Honda preferably),check clutch and chains

Most expensive car to maintain that I have ever had, unreliable, a complete death trap in the snow and ice, absolutely no good on mucky ground, ridiculous fuel consumption, parts are way too expensive, other wise a nice driving vehicle.

I have this car 15 months now and its a great car, I had read all the bad stories about these cars but got one anyway, just make sure it has a full service history and has a engine code that starts with brd. the back seat leg room is only good for young children but to drive its great

2009 Ford Mondeo Diesel Manual Hatchback by Goudy • 2nd February 2015
I sold my 2004 Vectra 2.2 DTI SRI which I loved very much and purchased this 2009 Zetec model from a main Ford dealer. The second I got in the car I was very impressed with the toys, comfort, design and I also really liked the look. It has upgraded snowflake alloys from new and it looked excellent. It is a very large car and you do need to be careful parking it, however it also has extra space, added comfort and an enormous boot. Handling is excellent also and it really sticks to the road even if you drive it enthusiastically. It is a 2.0 Diesel with 140bhp. Tons of torque, quicker than I imagined tbh and it gets 38-40mpg about town. Over 50mpg on a run. This is genuinely a brilliant car. It looks and feels more expensive than it is. I am proud to be a Mondeo man.

We researched these for a while and bought the 2.0 dci 175bhp model as the engine is not made by Renault :) it's the Nissan/Renault m9r engine which is super reliable and economical , they are mostly aluminium and plastic so no rust to worry about and load of space ?

Bought in a 2004 model in June 2012 with 85,000 on the clock now 121000. I have put it through the MOT 3 times with nothing being done, passed with flying colours every time. It usually averages in the mid to high 50s mpg but on a long run have averaged 67mpg. It is comfortable, durable, a joy to drive with its slick gearbox. A unrecognized gem, I'm now on the look out for a newer model

These cars are crap if i could have given it 0 stars i would have, electrics crap car locking and opening itself all the time, i need a key fob to start it and a different 1 to lock it, my driver side door fell of and after fixing the problem it is almost ready to fall of again, my injectors have went twice in two weeks, only thing good about these cars is the cheap tax and easy on fuel, if cars goes over 45 it will shake and rattle no point on taking 1 of these onto motorway anyone thinking of buying 1 of these keep your money in your pockets as you will have nothing but problems with it and i have researched the problems and i am told they are all the same, BUY AN AUDI

Yep. It's not a nice car. Like not BMW nice, for example. but it is ultra cheap to own and run. Bought 5 years ago with 65k on the clock. 157k today. Needed a clutch at around 115k and a wheel bearing. Otherwise no issues whatsoever in almost 100k of driving.
