2011 Vauxhall Insignia Diesel Manual Family Car by brendan lunney • 28th May 2013
The SRI insignia is a vast improvement from the Vectra SRI. The whole package is great, from driving to style and looks! Great car and a great price in the nearly new and second hand market.

2002 Vauxhall Zafira Petrol Manual MPV by Redartin • 26th May 2013
Had two Zafiras, the first was 2.0 diesel (great car) unfortunately crashed it. Then bough a 1.6 petrol. Not as economical or as nippy when full load. 7 seats all have plenty of room, used it ferrying two teenage daughters and mates. Then when seats are dropped loads of space, used to take daughters stuff to uni. Petrol does about 38 mph tax is £260 per year. Had no major problems just usual wear and tear.

2005 Ford Focus Petrol Manual Hatchback by Focus • 24th May 2013
Excellent car, so comfortable and smooth around town or at motorway speed, lots of space inside and high roof makes if feel even more spacious. Ours is sport model so v well kitted out with extras like air con, electric windows etc all the toys a modern car needs and German quality feel to interior. Really good size boot for this class of car a lot more space and bigger opening than a lot of rivals. Nice strong comfortable car allround

2007 Volkswagen Jetta Diesel Manual Saloon by TrevMcC • 22nd May 2013
Volkswagen payed the dealer £4000 on warranty issues.

3 New Clutches + Fly wheels
1 New Ignition Lock
1 New Complete Injector Set
Fuel Door repaired
1 New Headlight Control Unit

I spent £800 on suspension parts and fitting, to get through the first MOT.

I put 131,000 miles, on it, but it broke my heart.

If your looking for an affordable, spacious family car choose an Octavia. This is my third one since 2002. Would happily go Skoda again. They're reliable, functional and economical to top all off.

If you have any sense you won't buy one of these.had one for last 3 years ok car looks good but spent a fortune on keeping it on the road.its
Now worth a fraction of what it cost was offered £1200 as trade in which I think is shocking for a car barely 7 year old in mint condition

I find the BMW 3 series a great drivers car ,yet very refined and quiet on all road surfaces I have driven a lot of 3 series models E30 ,E36 ,E46 and E90 and they all have the same quality feel about them ,you feel you are in car above the ordinary , they have all been very reliable but have had little problems but nothing that would put me buying another BMW!

2005 Mazda 6 Petrol Manual Hatchback by James • 21st April 2013
Reliable, don't rust like other cars and very economical to own.My car has never failed an MOT yet, you drive it and keep up your service.
The 1.8 has no timing belt that needs changing every 60,000 miles, so no expensive bills.Driving is a sheer pleasure with an average 35 MPG on a long run into the 40's, it is a very sure footed on the road, you feel safe and just know it's not going to let you down

Car is now 11 year old with 127000 miles on it. Has never let me down and doesnt look like it will anytime soon. Running costs are low and it is easy to live with. Drive is smooth and comfortable if a bit sluggish. A sound buy, you wont regret it.

Bought this car Feb 2010 as a driving instructor I need a car that dependable that's what I got in this car the only problem I had was the door handles 3 out the 4 on the car had to be changed the warranty sorted this no problem this car has covered over 100000 miles oh and have put 1 clutch in this car now that's good the last car in 2 year's had put 2 clutch's in this was not a hyundai its comming time for me to be thinking of a new car but I can tell you now it will be a hyundai probably 2012/2013 model. The only problem I have had is the Dealer very slow in getting repairs carried out 3 week's for a clutch which can be done in a few hour's but an easy fix I just go to a different dealer.

these are a timeless car well advanced in there styleing, confort its like driveing in you tv chair except heated very good for back suffers, also the sound in these is second to none, for a big car the cost are what you would expect you in a fiesta after all, your falmily will always be safe thats the main concern with any car i drive, the luxurys come next this has it all, being far more expenive new there are not a lot about so the nabours won't have one,and power is there when you need it being all wheel drive it drives well on all surfaces, rateing i have no bad points.

2006 Skoda Fabia Diesel Manual Hatchback by vRS is the best • 9th April 2013
This is a fantastic motor. The 1.9l diesel is reliable and frugal (over 60 mpg, like always!). It's roomy, practical, cheap to tax and cheap to insure. It's also a cool, alternative hot hatch. See so many people blowing a fortune on Focus STs and Mini Cooper S's - madness. It's also miles cheaper than the equivalent Golf / Polo, and FAR more comfortable than the Ibiza. This is all the hot hatch most people will ever need as well as being all the family car, second car, commuter car or run about anyone would ever need!

STAY CLEAR FROM 140 BHP!!!!

2006 Audi A4 Diesel Manual Sedan by John • 5th April 2013
Had a 2.0 litre Diesel 140 bhp. The worst car I ever owned. It was constantly breaking down and when I would bring it to the Audi garage all they would say 'that part goes in them all'.
I could never go on a journey with either the car breaking down or worrying about it breaking down. It was very expensive to repair with the last bill costing me €1,800 and it out of action for 1 month.
It was an S-Line with big wheels which costed a small fortune to put tyres on and the ride was extremely bumpy. Very poor space inside and arm rest and glove box constantly breaking. Very poor build quality.
The only positive was it had great power when running well.
Not a good car.

2008 Volkswagen Passat Diesel Manual Sedan by Mickey Pickace • 5th April 2013
Own a 2008 Passat 1.9 Diesel. We do big mileage and this car is fantastic.
Very roomy and comfortable. Very economical averaging 50 - 53 MPG.
I cannot speak highly enough of this car. It has 145,000 miles on the clock. Fly wheel was replaced 15,000 miles ago but every car needs maintenance from time to time.
I had a number of Audi A4's before this car and I would rate the Passat much higher for reliability, comfort and space.
